I’m Nutsalia, an 18 year old artist from the Philippines. I started doing arts when I was a child, around 5-6 years old. At first, I only looked at it as a hobby but as I grew up, I realized that this is the only thing I wanna do.

At first, I only used traditional mediums such as watercolor, gouache, graphite and oils. Because I love the paintings that were made during the renaissance period, my works were basically inspired by them.

I love details in my work and that’s why I think my main style is semi-realism. But as I grew, I discovered a medium which is more convenient and easy to access. And that is, digital art. I also discovered other styles and I think that made me a versatile artist.

 

At this kind of age, I don’t expect that people will find my works somehow great but they are! So, I’m really happy and thankful for those people. I’ll continue to work harder as my biggest dream is not much nearer to fulfill and that is to become an animator on Pixars!
